Ed Devlin Biography

Mr. Devlin is a managing director and generalist portfolio manager based in the New York office. He is also head of Canadian portfolio management. He is responsible for managing fixed income strategies ranging from Total Return to credit, global and long duration, and for developing PIMCO’s Canadian economic outlook and portfolio strategies. Prior to moving to New York, he was based in London, with responsibilities for UK and European liability-driven investment portfolios. Prior to joining PIMCO in 2006, he worked in London, Tokyo, Toronto, Hong Kong and New York in progressively more senior fixed income positions at Lehman Brothers and Merrill Lynch. He has 21 years of investment experience and holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from Wilfrid Laurier University, where he was the gold medal recipient. He also holds an MBA from the Tuck School at Dartmouth College.
