Vincint Cannady, famously known as VINCINT, is an American singer-songwriter born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Rising to fame as a finalist on the first season of FOX's “The Four: Battle for Stardom” in 2018, they captivated audiences with a performance of Radiohead’s “Creep,” earning unanimous judge approval. Raised by a gospel-singing father, VINCINT began singing at five, overcoming shyness through a boys’ choir audition at seven and writing their first song at twelve. A Berklee College of Music graduate in 2013, they blend pop and R&B, citing influences like Beyoncé, Whitney Houston, and Björk.
