A native of India's Bombay When Vikram Sunderam joined the Taj Mahal Hotel group in 1985, he began his career. He worked at a handful of the organization's facilities during his training, including Riverview Lodge, where he was promoted to Head Chef.
Sunderam received a Bachelor of Arts from Osmania University in Hyderabad and a Diploma in Hotel Administration and Food Technology from Sophia Polytechnic in Bombay before receiving an Advanced Food Hygiene Certificate from the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea in London.
