As an Army brat who was raised all around the world, Sunny's parents always pushed her to eat the local food. She maintained her quest for news stories while savoring gastronomic discoveries when she enlisted in the Air Force as a radio announcer and journalist.
She continued her travels as a radio DJ in other locations after leaving the Air Force and achieved her dream job in New York at a No. 1 ranked radio station. There, she started preparing meals for her friends who worked in the entertainment industry. She then converted her pastime into a catering business and grew her clientele.
