Rory T. Edwards is the author of the Life Changing Guide for Athletes, Coaches and Parents titled, “So you Want to be a Professional Athlete” A guide for Raising, Being and Coaching the Worlds next SUPERSTAR. As Chairman and Founder of the Rory T. Edwards Group., Mr. Edwards is dedicated to developing programs and sustaining services which deliver the educational, health and social essentials of culturally diverse, urban, suburban and rural communities. Prior to materializing the Rory T. Edwards Group brand, Rory has worked relentlessly in a multitude of leadership positions over the last 25 years in Education, Community, Business and Non-Profit. Mr. Edwards has taught at every level of education (elementary-college) and every type of labeled learning institution (public, technical, private, charter).

He was President of The New Britain, CT. Branch of the N.A.A.C.P. for 11 years and was also a member of the National NAACP Education committee. Rory has played a significant role in the success of the nationally acclaimed Amistad Academy in New Haven Connecticut, as Dean of Students and Faculty, his school culture methodology has been hailed by the former U.S. Secretary of Education as “A National Model for Education.” He was Co-founder of the Cross-Cultural Academy of Arts and Technology Charter School and has assisted numerous school leaders to develop their charter schools in over 6 states. He was Chief Operations Officer at the Georgia Training Alliance and founder of “Once a Man, Twice a Child” Rites of Passage Academy for 14 years.
