Dr. Anita Phillips is a renowned American trauma therapist, life coach, minister, author, and speaker. Raised in a Christian home with pastor parents, Phillips was profoundly influenced by her sister Valerie's struggles with mental illness and addiction, which ended in her 2016 passing, fueling Anita's advocacy for mental health in faith communities.

She holds degrees from the University of Maryland and Regent University's School of Psychology & Counseling, as well as an NIH-funded postdoctoral fellowship at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
