Rebecca Sugar is an American animator, songwriter, and television producer, best known as the creator of the popular animated series "Steven Universe." Sugar attended the School of Visual Arts in New York City, where she studied animation.
After graduation, she began working as a writer and storyboard artist for the animated series "Adventure Time," where she became the first female solo creator of an episode. In 2013, Sugar created "Steven Universe," a groundbreaking animated series that features a diverse cast of characters and explores themes of love, family, and identity.
