Jeff Evans is an exciting individual, serving as an adventurer, explorer and mountaineer throughout his adult life. While Evans grew up with a passion for adventure and a knack for curiosity, he did not hesitate to fulfill these desires as he delved into the outdoors and spent his childhood looking for answers in the great outdoors. He could mostly be found scurrying among the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia and North Carolina and later the higher mountains of Colorado. No matter where he was exploring, he was continually training and testing his limits to familiarize himself with a life of the unexplored and unscathed. Evans has since developed himself into one of our time’s most prestigious mountain guiders. As a graduate of the University of ColoradoBoulder majoring in cultural anthropology and religious studies, he also attended medical school in Pennsylvania in addition to the University of Guadalajara in Mexico where he spent a term studying Latin American Culture and Spanish. While very interested in the medical field and its emphasis on travel, Evans even became registered as an Emergency Medical Physician Assistant. As the founder of MountainVision Inc., he has published a guide book, appeared in award-winning documentaries, and continues to share his passion for the undiscovered with all those who embrace the skills and talents he has developed over the years as a mountain guide.
