Rebecca Saxe is a prominent cognitive neuroscientist and professor of cognitive neuroscience at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Saxe earned her Bachelor's in Brain and Cognitive Sciences from MIT and a Ph.D. in Cognitive Neuroscience from MIT.
She conducted postdoctoral research at the University of California, Berkeley, and the University of Cambridge before joining the faculty at MIT in 2006. Saxe's research focuses on understanding the neural basis of social cognition, including how the brain represents and processes information related to social groups, relationships, and moral judgment.
