Glee's David Dave Karofsky is played by actor Max James Adler. He is the most recent member of The Trevor Project: It Gets Better. It's unclear whether he'll return to Glee. Max Adler was a member of the First Chair All-State show choir at Horizon High School in Scottsdale, Arizona.
He came to Los Angeles after graduation to pursue an acting career. Max Adler portrays school bully Dave Karofsky in the Fox television series Glee. Karofsky is revealed to be a closeted homosexual adolescent in the November 2010 episode Never Been Kissed, which was designed to address the problem of LGBT youth bullying.
