In addition to serving as the Thurgood Marshall Civil Rights Center's executive director, Justin Hansford teaches law at Howard University School of Law. Prior to joining Saint Louis University, Professor Hansford held the positions of Associate Professor of Law at Georgetown University Law Center, Democracy Project Fellow at Harvard University, and Visiting Professor of Law at Georgetown University.
He earned his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and his B.A. from Howard University, where he also founded the Georgetown Journal of Law and Modern Critical Race Perspectives. In addition, Professor Hansford received a Fulbright Scholarship to study Nelson Mandela's legal career and worked as Judge Damon J.
