Deborah H. Gruenfeld is an author and social psychologist recognized as the Joseph McDonald Professor and Professor of Organizational Behavior, Stanford University and the Co-director of the Executive Program in Women's Leadership, Stanford University. Her research and teaching examines how people are transformed by the organizations and social structures in which they work.

She is also the author of numerous articles on the psychology of power and group behavior. Gruenfeld has taught popular courses on these related topics to MBA students and executives at Stanford and at Northwestern University’s J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management. In 2000, Gruenfeld joined the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
