When Zara Maria Larsson won the well-known Swedish talent competition Talang Sverige in 2008, she initially attracted the attention of the general audience (the regional version of Got Talent). Born in Stockholm on December 16, 1997, Larsson signed a recording contract with Ten Music Group after winning Talang.
In 2013, she released her debut EP, Introducing, which included the popular song Uncover. After releasing another EP, Allow Me to Reintroduce Myself, Larsson started working on her actual first long-player. The song was given triple platinum certification in her own country. 2014 saw the release of the resulting 1 by Record Company Ten and Universal Music.
