Malaysian singer-songwriter and entrepreneur Yunalis Mat Zara'ai is better known by her stage name, Yuna. She was reared in Kedah and started creating songs at the age of 14.
She quickly taught herself how to play the guitar, and in 2006, in search of a creative outlet, while enrolled in law school, she gave her first performance in front of an audience. On her MySpace profile, Yuna made her music available, and more than one million people played it.
