Yascha Mounk is renowned for his writings on the deterioration of liberal democracy and the rise of populism. He currently holds appointments in the School of Advanced International Studies and the Agora Institute while serving as an Associate Professor of the Practice of International Affairs at Johns Hopkins University.
Yascha is the author of three books: a memoir about Germany's tumultuous attempts to deal with its past, Stranger in My Own Country - A Jewish Family in Modern Germany (2014); The Age of Responsibility.
