Wendell James was born and raised in Ohio, but he thought California was the best place for him to pursue his dreams. Wendell can turn a few heads with his distinctive flair and his entertaining but usually uninteresting persona. Wendell and Kym first met in 2004 and quickly became friends, going out to eat and shopping together.
James and Kym frequently attend honorary events and get-togethers together, jokingly referring to one another as "Hollywood Husband and Wife." Even though James has amazing hair (and a Bentley), he also has a Ph.D. in directing and has long maintained a company working with adults who are normatively disabled. Wendell and his dog Tony reside in Palm Springs, California.
