Victoria Arlen is a current ESPN TV personality who also doubles as a motivational speaker, model, and former American Paralympic swimmer. Arlen has two brothers and is a triplet. At the age of eleven, Arlen invented the rare diseases transverse myelitis and severe spread encephalomyelitis.
Victoria's ability to communicate, eat, walk, and the move was immediately gone due to this highly unusual circumstance. She entered a vegetative condition where recovery seemed improbable. Arlen spent nearly four years trapped inside her own body, well aware of what was occurring but unable to act or communicate.
