Former wide receiver for the NFL's New York Giants, Victor Cruz. Cruz officially announced his retirement from the NFL in 2018 to become an ESPN investigative reporter. Cruz attended Paterson Catholic High School in New Jersey and Bridgton Academy in Maine for his last semester of graduate school.
Despite not starting a game until his lower season, he continued to play football at the University of Massachusetts, where he is currently ranked fourth on the all-time UMass gatherings list. In his school career, he had just under 2000 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns. In 2008 and 2009, Cruz was selected as a first-group All-Colonial Athletic Association wide receiver.
