After recording a demo for a year and a half, she signed with A&M Records. She started the album's recording. Her first single, A Thousand Miles, debuted in the top five of the 2002 Billboard Hot 100. Be Nobody, her presenting collection has achieved platinum certification in the US. Her publications Harmonium (2004), Heroes and Thieves (2007), and Rabbits on the Run have subsequently been released (2011).
