Tyler Lepley was raised as an only kid in Philadelphia before relocating to Los Angeles to pursue a career in personal training, which eventually brought him to acting. A producer saw him and got in touch with him because she believed he had the appearance and charm for a part in a forthcoming movie. After giving an audition for the character, Tyler was cast in his first independent film role. His enthusiasm for acting then really took off. He started to develop and perfect his skill after he realized he had discovered his passion. He presently has a major role in Tyler Perry's popular OWN series "The Haves and the Have Nots," and he has also acted in films including the Taye Diggs, Paula Patton, Tia Mowry, and Derek Luke-starring Baggage Claim from FOX Searchlight.
