Timothy Alexander is an American motivational speaker, mindset coach, best-selling author, and founder of Inspired by TA, based in Birmingham, Alabama. A former high school football star with a promising athletic career, his playing days ended in a 2006 car accident that left him paralyzed from the neck down.
Defying prognosis, he regained some function, earned multiple degrees from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), including a master's in communication management, and became the first paraplegic to receive a Division I football scholarship. Alexander played a key role in reviving UAB's football program after its 2014 discontinuation and served as its director of character development.
