A suicide vehicle bomb seriously injured Tiffany Smiley's husband, Major (Retired) Scotty Smiley, when he was stationed in Iraq in 2005. Tiffany was working as a nurse at the time of Scotty's injuries, but she left to become a full-time caretaker for him.
She went on to become the mother of three small children, the President and Co-Founder of Hope Unseen, and, most recently, the founder of More Than Me, a movement and conference committed to helping women share their stories in order to affect and improve their communities.
