Thomas J. DeLong teaches in a variety of executive schools across the world and advises top companies on how to make individual and organizational transformations. Flying Without a Net: Turn Fear of Change into Fuel for Success, his 2011 book, focuses on the difficulties of assisting bright people who are averse to change.
He is also the Harvard Business School's Philip J. Stomberg Professor of Management Practice in the Organizational Behavior department. DeLong was Chief Development Officer and Managing Director of Morgan Stanley Group, Inc. before joining the Harvard Faculty, where he was responsible for the firm's human resources and focused on challenges of organizational strategy and transformation.
