Susan Scanland has been a medical carer specializing in patients with Alzheimer's disease and dementia for 28 years as of 2010. She has gained experience in both outpatient settings and long-term care homes. Currently, she is a dementia and Alzheimer's counselor at a long-term care facility in Scranton, Pennsylvania.
