Steve Bodow is the Head Writer for Jon Stewart's famed Comedy Central news satire, The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. Steve has earned four Emmys, two Television Critics Association Awards, and a Peabody Award since joining TDS in 2002. He also contributed to the #1 best-selling America: The Book by the Daily Show. Steve has worked as a journalist for The New York Times, New York Magazine, Rolling Stone, the New York Daily News, Wired, Slate, and many other magazines, writing both humorous and serious pieces on politics, media, business, and culture. Among his other odd jobs, he spent 10 years co-directing an award-winning New York theatrical group and two years as a Wall Street hedge fund analyst. Steve has a master's degree from NYU and a BA from Yale, and he and his wife and two kids live in New York City.
