Sheri Fink is an American journalist, author, and physician known for her investigative reporting on healthcare and humanitarian crises. She holds an M.D. and Ph.D. from Stanford University and is trained in internal medicine.
Fink's Pulitzer Prize-winning book, “Five Days at Memorial: Life and Death in a Storm-Ravaged Hospital” (2013), chronicles the ethical dilemmas faced by medical staff at a New Orleans hospital during Hurricane Katrina, earning the National Book Critics Circle Award and inspiring an Apple TV+ series.
