Theoretical physicist Sean Carroll works at the California Institute of Technology. In 1993, he graduated from Harvard University with a doctorate. His work focuses on fundamental physics and cosmology, including the universe's genesis, dark matter, energy, and spacetime symmetry. In addition, Carroll has recently focused on the origins of complexity, the arrow of time, and the principles of quantum physics.
Carroll is the author of Spacetime and Geometry: An Introduction to General Relativity, From Eternity to Here: The Search for the Ultimate Theory of Time, and The Particle at the End of the Universe.
