Scott Fredel is the Executive Chef and Owner of Pilar, a restaurant adventure in Aventura, Florida, combining his passions for eating and fishing. Ocean Drive Magazine recently named one of the 10 Best Chefs in South Florida. Scott began his career at The Culinary Institute of America, much like many other successful food service professionals.
After from the prestigious Culinary Institute of America in 1993, Scott honed his skills with successful restaurateurs and culinary specialists, including Norman Van Aken, Mark Militello, Kerry Simon, and Pascal Oudin. In New York City, he also made arrangements for Chanterelle and Le Cirque.
