In November 2012, Scott Dadich was appointed manager and CEO of WIRED. He most recently held the position of innovation chief for the company from 2006 to 2010, during which he helped WIRED win an incredible three consecutive National Magazine Awards in Design and oversaw the development of its essential iPad application. For Condé Nast, Mr. Dadich was vice president of editorial platforms and design from 2010 until 2012. Since taking over as editorial director for his boss, Mr. Dadich has overseen the execution of WIRED's first historically significant design retreat, WIRED by Design, which was held at George Lucas' Skywalker Ranch; ensured a special meeting and photoshoot with one of the world's most influential figures, Edward Snowden; and collaborated on particular issues with both Bill Gates and blockbuster Hollywood film producer Christopher Nolan. Moreover, WIRED.com's traffic has increased by 30% during his residence, thanks to the site's reinstated emphasis on artificial narration.
