The cyberpunk thriller television series Mr. Robot was created, executive produced and directed by Sam Esmail. It debuted on USA Network on June 24, 2015. Esmail pursued his Master of Fine Arts in directing at the American Film Institute after earning his degree from Yale University's Tisch School of the Arts.
Sequels Remakes & Adaptations, his first feature-length script, was published in 2008 and made the Black List, a list of the top screenplays chosen by more than 600 executives from production companies and film financiers.
