Since 1999 Lodge has been the host of the syndication dating show Blind Date.Prior to hosting Blind Date Lodge was a guest host on the E! Entertainment show Talk Soup. He also hosted his own half-hour weekly show for the Sci-Fi Channel entitled Sci-Fi Vortex.In addition to his hosting duties Lodge is also an actor.
His credits include appearances on the ABC sitcom Full House CBS's Yes Dear and UPN's The Parkers. He also appeared in the Robert De Niro film The Fan.From 2003-05 Lodge hosted a local morning drive-time radio show on 1540 The Ticket.Lodge is also a frequent guest on the ESPN show Jim Rome is Burning.
