Rick Hoffman is an American actor who graduated from The Wheatley School in Old Westbury, NY, before attending the University of Arizona. He later moved to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career. Hoffman got his first role as a security guard in the movie Conspiracy Theory (1997). After appearing in other minor parts, he gained recognition for his breakout role as Freddie Sacker on the Wall Street series The $treet (2000). Hoffman also had memorable roles in other TV series such as Philly (2001), The Bernie Mac Show (2001), and Jake in Progress (2005). Additionally, he has appeared in supporting roles in movies such as The Day After Tomorrow (2004), Blood Work (2002), Hostel (2005), Cellular (2004), and The Condemned (2007). Currently, he stars as Louis Litt on the hit TV show Suits, which premiered its third season on July 16, 2013. In addition, variety magazine recognized Hoffman as one of its 10 Actors to Watch.
