Rick Bayless is a world-renowned chef, restaurateur, author, and TV personality with a passion for authentic Mexican cuisine. He has won numerous James Beard Awards, including Outstanding Restaurant for Frontera Grill and Toplobampo. His popular TV series, Mexico–One Plate at a Time, has earned him multiple Daytime Emmy nominations for Best Culinary Host.
He has authored nine cookbooks, including "Mexican Kitchen," "Fiesta at Rick's," and "More Mexican Everyday." In addition to his culinary pursuits, Bayless is also a committed philanthropist. He established the Frontera Farmer Foundation in 2003 to support small Midwestern farms and the Frontera Scholarship, which sends a Mexican-American Chicago Public School student to Kendall College to study culinary arts.
