Ricardo Antonio Chavira is an American actor best known for his role as Carlos Solis in the popular television series "Desperate Housewives." Born on September 1, 1971, in San Antonio, Texas, Chavira graduated from the University of the Incarnate Word with a degree in theatre arts.
After a few minor roles in films and television, he landed the part of Carlos Solis in "Desperate Housewives," which aired from 2004 to 2012. Chavira received critical acclaim for his performance and was nominated for an ALMA Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Television Series.
