Raymond Moody is a philosopher, psychologist, and physician best known for researching near-death experiences (NDEs). He coined the term "near-death experience" in his book "Life After Life," which was published in 1975 and became a bestseller.
Moody received his Bachelor's degree in philosophy from the University of Virginia, his Master's degree in philosophy from the University of Virginia, and his Ph.D. in philosophy from the University of Edinburgh. He also earned a medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia. Moody's work on NDEs has influenced popular culture and academic circles.
