Rachel Thomas is a marketing executive who has led large-scale positioning and marketing initiatives for well-known consumer technology companies. She served as VP of marketing for Playdom, a social gaming company that Disney acquired. Rachel is also the co-founder and president of Lean In, a global community committed to encouraging and supporting women to achieve their ambitions.
Sheryl Sandberg approached her to run Lean In in 2012. She accepted the position because she realized her biggest regret would be not doing something she believed in so deeply. Under Rachel's leadership, Lean In has grown into a global movement with over 3 million members in 150 countries.
