At the MIT Sloan School of Management, Otto Scharmer is a Senior Lecturer in Organization Studies. Scharmer is the founder and chair of ELIAS (Emerging Leaders for Innovation Across Sectors), a group dedicated to creating deep system solutions for a more sustainable society.
ELIAS brings together 20 of the world's most influential institutions from the business, government, and civil society sectors. He is also a visiting professor at the Helsinki School of Economics Center for Innovation and Knowledge Research and the founding head of the Presencing Institute, a research effort focused on developing and expanding social technologies to drive innovative thinking.
