OK Go didn't gain a following until 2005, when the band started making their own music videos to promote their off-kilter guitars, Pixies/Cars fetishism, and plain power pop sensibility. Recognizing the increasing popularity of websites like as YouTube, the band created a campy dancing video for A Million Ways, a song off their sophomore album, Oh No.
It became the most downloaded music video in history, and OK Go went on to win a Grammy Award for their follow-up video, which featured the bandmates dancing on treadmills, while continuing to make witty, catchy pop music.
