Obiageli Ezekwesili is a consultant to the Mano River governments in their dealings with foreign financial institutions and donor countries, as well as the leader of a proposal to establish a public policy school in Abuja. She was a vice president of the World Bank (Africa Region) in Washington, D.C.
before joining Open Society, where she was responsible for activities in 48 countries and a financing portfolio of approximately $40 billion. Ezekwesili served in the Nigerian federal government as a presidential advisor in charge of public procurement reforms, minister of mineral resources, and minister of education from 2002 to 2007.
