Nate started his first company in 2004 a medical device start-up named Paramed which was acquired by Stryker Medical (SYK) in 2009. Stryker retained Nate and lead the global research and development group of the emergency services division for two years. In 2011, Nate left Stryker to build Brightface, a product development company focused on mobile and web applications.
Nate is still an active advisor for Strava as they integrate the Cycleface experience for Strava's users. Nate now heads Tanner Labs a technology research and development division inside O.C. Tanner Recognition Company. Nate's team has launched two start-ups in the last twelve months while working on a few more.
