Mike Moore is a documentary filmmaker, screenwriter, novelist, journalist, actor, and political activist from the United States. He directed and produced Fahrenheit 9/11 (2004), a critical look at George W. Bush's presidency and the War on Terror that went on to become the highest-grossing documentary of all time and win the Palme d'Or.
Bowling for Columbine (2002) received the Academy Award for Documentary Feature for its examination of the reasons for the Columbine High School shooting. Sicko (2007) and Bowling for Columbine (2007), both films on health care in the United States, are among the top ten highest-grossing documentaries.
