Michael Edward Mike Love (born March 15, 1941) is the lead vocalist of The Beach Boys and a founding member of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
In 1961, he co-wrote the lyrics to The Beach Boys' debut record, Surfin, and went on to co-write eleven Top 10 singles with cousin Brian Wilson over the next five years, including Fun, Fun, Fun, I Get Around, Help Me Rhonda, California Girls, and Good Vibrations. He finally finished work on his long-awaited solo album in 2006.
