Mason Jennings (brought into the world 1975 in Honolulu, Hawaii) is an American pop-people vocalist musician. He is notable for his basic yet infectious songs, personal verses, abstract and authentic subjects, and particular voice. Brought into the world in Hawaii, Jennings moved with his family to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, at an early age. Jennings figured out how to play guitar at 13 years old, when he started composing melodies. Jennings later exited school and moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota to seek after his melodic vocation. Jennings created his self-named debut collection in 1997 on a simple four-track in the lounge room of a leased home, playing all instruments himself. In October 1998, joined by drummer Chris Stock and bassist Robert Skoro, he started a week by week gig at Minneapolis' 400 Bar as the Mason Jennings Band. The fourteen day gig wound up enduring four months. Jennings started visiting broadly and extended the profundity of his sound by welcoming saxophonist Chris Thomson to play with them periodically and supplanting Stock with Brazilian jazz drummer Edgar Olivera. 2000’s “Birds Flying Away” uncovered Jennings' political activism and inclination for singing first-individual accounts of nonexistent rural characters. Following the arrival of this collection, Noah Levy of The Honeydogs took over drumming obligations from Olivera. In 2002, Jennings delivered a studio collection, “Century Spring, “and a “fans only” assortment of acoustic tunes, “Simple Life.” An EP supporting “Century Spring” was additionally delivered, including the collection's initial track, “Living In The Moment,” two live tracks, and the beforehand unreleased “Emperor Ashoka.” Jennings delivered each of the three plates, and re-delivered his previous collections, on his record name, Architect Records. In 2003, Skoro and Levy left the band and were supplanted by bassist Chris Morrissey and drummer Brian McLeod. In February 2004, Jennings delivered “Use Your Voice,” which quite incorporated the tunes “Keepin' It Real” apparently composed in line with “Shrek 2” makers (however not utilized in the film), and “The Ballad of Paul and Sheila, an acoustic lament for late Minnesota congressperson Paul Wellstone. In September of that year, the band delivered a DVD entitled “Use Your Van,” which chronicled the account of “Use Your Voice” and part of the limited time visit. The DVD was shot by Andy Grund. In June 2005, Jennings endorsed with Glacial Pace, an auxiliary of Sony's Epic Records headed by Modest Mouse frontman Isaac Brock. Jennings recorded his 6th collection, “Boneclouds,” at Pachyderm Studio in Cannon Falls, Minnesot with maker Noah Georgeson. The collection was delivered in May 2006 by Glacial Pace. Before long, bassist Chris Morrisey left the band. Jennings recorded two Bob Dylan tunes, “The Times They Are a-Changin'” and “The Lonesome Death of Hattie Carroll,” for the soundtrack of the 2007 film “I'm Not There.” In mid 2008 Mason endorsed with Jack Johnson's record name, Brushfire Records. Jennings delivered “In the Ever” in May 2008. The title was roused by his child alluding to where he was before he was conceived as, “In the ever.” In September 2009, Blood of Man was delivered. A free reward EP named “Independent” (containing the tracks “Mark My Heart With Ashes” and “Wide Open Country”) was dispersed with the collection at autonomous record stores. Jennings showed up on the soundtrack to the narrative “180? South,” which was delivered in March 2010. In late 2010, “Live at First Ave.,” his initially live collection, was delivered. In 2011 Jennings gave the full-length collection, “Minnesota,” on the Stats and Brackets name.
