Larry Wilcox Biography

Larry Wilcox was conceived on August 8, 1947, in San Diego CA. While still a baby his folks got a separation. He moved to Rawlins Wyoming and was raised on his granddad's farm The Flying Diamond. His dad a barkeep passed on soon after and his mom filled in as a secretary to help her four youngsters. In the wake of moving on from Rawlins High School Larry floated to L.A. what's more, maintained odd sources of income while concentrating piano and acting. In 1967, going to be drafted he joined the Marine Corps Reserve and went through 13 months in Vietnam as an artilleryman. He arrived at the position of Sergeant before he was released in 1970. Coming back to the states he continued his acting exercises in L.A. A toss with dentistry courses at a neighborhood school persuaded him he didn't have the manual aptitude for it. After a short time he was landing worthwhile ads for any semblance of Old Spice. In 1972, he was given a role as Dale Mitchell in another rebirth of the mainstream arrangement Lassie. The show went on until 1974. He proceeded to show up on TV and in motion pictures until in 1977, he was given a role as Officer Jon Baker in CHiPs. Wilcox concedes playing the job of Jon to facilitate his sadness at losing a section in Rich Man Poor Man to Nick Nolte."
