Kirby Dick is an Academy- and Emmy Award-nominated documentary director. His most recent film, "The Hunting Ground," was released in February, 2015. The documentary is an exposé of rape crimes on U.S. college campuses, their institutional cover-ups, and the devastating toll they take on students and their families.
Another of Dick's films, "The Invisible War," entailed a groundbreaking investigation into the epidemic of rape in the U.S. military and won the Audience Award at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival. Released by Cinedigm/Documara, the film helped influence the Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta to announce some important policy changes.
