Kevin VanDamSpeaker and Booking Agent Information

“In my opinion, he is the best of this era and will be the best I cover for the rest of my career as a commentator.” VanDam is the best money winner on the Bassmaster Tournament trail, having obtained more than five million dollars through February of 2012, as well as four Bassmaster Classic titles (2001, 2005, 2010, & 2011) and 7 Toyota Tundra Angler of Year titles (1992, 1996, 1999, 2008, 2009, 2010, & 2011).

Kevin won his first AOY title in 1991. The Bassmaster Classic title is by far the most prestigious in bass fishing, luring the world's best anglers who classify through a regular-season schedule. VanDam has qualified for twenty-three consecutive Classics since turning pro in 1992, the longest Classic qualified streak of any active pro.

In 252 career Bassmaster occasions, Kavin has won twenty, finished second eleven times, and ranked in the top 10 ninety-eight times! Growing up in Michigan, the 45-year-old pro refined his angling capabilities by fishing for a variety of fish species such as walleyes, salmon, trout, muskies, and northern pike.

“Fishing distinct species in the huge diversity of lakes and rivers we have in Michigan can teach you a lot,” he said. “However, bass is my first love.” VanDam controlled tournament circuits near his Kalamazoo home as a teen, winning The Michigan BASS Federation Angler of Year two times before going pro.

At the age of twenty-three, VanDam became the youngest Toyota Tundra Angler of the Year, racking up an unparalleled twenty-three consecutive in-the-money ends and shattering tournament records. He and his wife Sherry have 2 sons, Nicholas and Jackson, who are twins.

When he isn't touring, you can find him with his boys, fishing in the summer, and deer hunting in the off-season.
