Jules is the executive director and co-chair of the Future of Privacy Forum, a think group located in Washington, D.C. that promotes ethical data practices. FPF's current projects focus on online data utilization, smart grid, mobile data, applications, and social media to improve transparency and control in a business-practical way.
Jules was responsible for ensuring that AOL's consumers could trust the firm with their information as Chief Privacy Officer and SVP for Consumer Advocacy, as well as training workers about best practices for advertising, content, and product development. Jules formerly worked at America Online Inc. for four years as vice president of integrity assurance.
