Doctor Joshua M. Sharfstein, MD, is the Vice Dean for Public Health Practice and Community Engagement at Johns Hopkins University's Bloomberg School of Public Health. He is in charge of the Office of Public Health Practice and Training, as well as the General Preventive Medicine Residency and major training activities, such as partnership with public health agencies.
He is also a member of the Department of Health Policy and Management. Dr. Sharfstein also serves as the Director of the Bloomberg American Health Initiative, where he oversees the implementation of the initiative's key components.
