Dame Jenny Shipley is a non-executive director of a number of New Zealand and overseas corporations. She is the chairperson of Genesis Energy, a New Zealand government-owned SOE, and has served as an independent director of China Construction Bank, one of China's major four former state-owned banks, since 2007.
Dame Shipley is a director of Momentum and the Investment, Savings and Insurance Board, and heads the New Zealand-based firms Senior Money International and Mainzeal Construction.
