Jameson Rodgers had his sights set on both music and baseball. Rodgers’ passion lead him to a baseball scholarship at Northwest Mississippi Community College where he played for two years. After transferring to the University of Southern Mississippi he started writing songs. Rodgers formed a band that performed in bars and clubs in Southern Mississippi and developed a local following.
His dedication finally paid off when he landed a publishing deal with Combustion in 2014 and shortly after had his song Wish You Were On It recorded by country super duo Florida Georgia Line. Rodgers released his second EP in early 2018.
